First Class coverings have an aluminum or a steel skeleton structure consisting on supporting pillars and a frame, both with a semi-circular shape, on which the exclusive and innovative covering system Stratus-Tex is placed on. The Stratus-Tex system offers thermal and acoustic insulation.

Further more thanks to the First Class telescopic roof and retractable roof, it’s possible to avoid the drum effect of the rain on the covering. That noise is made, instead, by typical of the standards outdoor awnings. The noise is absorbed up to 80% making it pleasant and even soothing in rainy days. Retractable roofs can be paired with Crystal-Tex Lateral Panel to enclose and isolate the spaces or with Vertical-Tex Vertical Enclosures. Versions

Self-supporting telescopic cover

First Class has a very robust supporting structure with unique installation characteristics. It can be installed and anchored independently from the main building or cottage, creating a comfortable area

Leaning telescopic covers

First Class can be attached to the main building, integrating perfectly with the various modern and classic architectures with the possibility of installation with or without supporting pillars

Modular motorized cover

First Class is modular, conceived and designed to be assembled to create large comfortable outdoor areas. It is possible to combine several modules set against the wall or on an island to create large rooms to be used during the four seasons

Certifications

LASP has subjected the First Class telescopic roof with the patented MANTT system to quality control, which has passed all European safety tests, obtaining the certifications of the Experimental Institute for Building ISTEDIL, CE certifications and American Institute of Steel Construction AISC international certifications. All First Class components have been tested to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. Periodically, specialized engineers carry out safety and structural resistance tests and appropriate tests of resistance to strong wind, snow and rain loads.

Used materials

Structure

The supporting structure of the First Class telescopic roof is made up of 6063 alloy aluminum profiles that guarantee ductility, resistance to bending and compression and lightness. The aluminum profiles are painted with epoxy paints to ensure the best resistance to atmospheric agents and saline corrosion.

Fabrics

The fabrics used in the roof of the First Class retractable roof with Stratus-Tex Comfort system are from the best DICKSON, SUNBRELLA, TEMPOTEST and OPATEX brands with international certifications.

The polyester acrylic or PVC fabrics are tested to be waterproof and mold-resistant, fireproof, heat-insulating and sound-absorbing, available in a wide range of solution-dyed colors.

Bolts

The First Class aluminum profiles and components are assembled with the highest quality A2 stainless steel bolts selected by LASP.

The bolt sections are designed to withstand very high tensile loads. The First Class telescopic roof is produced in the assembly lines of our production workshops and assembled with bolt kits ready at the installation site.

Engines

The First Class LASP is a retractable telescopic roof equipped with a motorized mobile roofing system that allows you to open and close the canopy as desired with sections of one third of its length. The guaranteed electric motors SOMFY, MT Electric Motors and SIMU are CE certified for the European market, UL and CSA for the North American market.

MANTT patent

All LASP outdoor covers are tested to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.

M.A.N.T.T. is the acronym for Anti-Snow Telescopic Roof Mechanism which guarantees the roof strength against heavy snow loads and the ability to melt the snow that accumulates on the roof. Many architects and engineers design roofing solutions with the MANTT system patented by LASP.

We at LASP guarantee a quick and clean installation in the execution of the works, thermal insulation and the possibility of inserting utilities or heating systems under the Spalto platform.

Electric heaters – HEATWAVE

LASP’s First Class telescopic cover was designed to integrate the HeatWave electric heaters with a ducting system for electrical cables integrated into the main structure to facilitate the execution of the electrical system.

Led lights – LUXY

The LUXY LED light system allows you to adjust the intensity and color of the light inside the First Class telescopic cover. Luxy can be warm, cold or multicolored RGB.
